A Brief Look at Jennifer DiArenzo...

With a deep love of nature, Jennifer focuses much of her work on wildlife and the natural world around her. She is a 2009 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York, with a degree in Illustration and a minor in Creative Writing. Though much of her portfolio work is based in illustration and fine art, she did study graphic design as well, and also has a talent for designing stationery and invitation sets, as well as logo creation.

Jennifer continues to study zoology and botany on her own, beyond her college education, in order to ensure that her wildlife illustration and fine art work is scientifically accurate. Because of this passion, during the summer of 2010, she was able to pursue her other career dream of marine biology, interning with Ocean Alliance and Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester, MA. In this non-profit program, she conducted research on the different species of whales and other marine life in the Stellwagon Bank National Marine Sanctuary, and provided education to passengers on the boat during trips.

Jennifer lives right outside of Philadelphia with her husband, chocolate lab, and soon to arrive baby daughter. With a studio in the back of her home, she does freelance and personally commissioned work for a variety of clients, including the NIA Learning Center in Philadelphia, the Middletown Delaware Designer Show House, and Friends of Homeless Animals Shelter in Virginia. Her mediums of choice include oil paints, acrylics, and colored pencils, but she also works in charcoal, pastels, watercolors, graphite, and digital media.  Jennifer is also an active church member and thanks God for the blessing of her artistic talents.
